All the four phones in the new Galaxy series stand out with their futuristic design. Each of the phones has Samsung’s signature Infinity display with no bezel and curved sides, which gives it an immersive viewing experience. Moreover, the screens of the phones are powered by dynamic AMOLED technology with dynamic tone mapping for a wide range of colors. Additionally, there is a reduction in blue light. This makes it easier to watch videos, read, or play even in the dark without straining the eyes.
One of the best features of the latest phones from the Galaxy S series is the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor that is embedded right into the display. In the previous models, the scanner was at the back, which many users complained about. With the scanner on the front, it ensures the best level of security for the phones. Also, unlocking the phones becomes quite simple and hassle-free. The ultrasonic reader creates a 3D contour of the user’s finger, providing security and accuracy when compared to phones with optical sensors. With a touch, it is possible to not only unlock the phone but also drag and hold to open any app. This feature is, however, not available in the S10e model; it, instead, has the sensor in the power button on the side.
The Samsung S10, S10e, S10+, and S10 5G are equipped with an intelligent performance feature. This recognizes a person’s usage pattern and optimizes the phone based on that. The phones can predict future behavior and pre-load the apps that are frequently used. Also, the phones have an Adaptive Power Saving mode that adapts to the usage. This ensures a longer battery life. The Galaxy S10+ lasts for as long as 12 hours 35 minutes. Additionally, the phones come with PowerShare feature that lets users wirelessly charge other Galaxy S10 phones and Galaxy Buds.
The S10e with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at around $749 and the S10 costs around $899 for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The price of an S10+ is around $999 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Additionally, the S10 5G is around $1299 for the 256GB model through Verizon; whereas, the 512GB model costs around $1400. These prices, however, may differ based on the location and carrier.
